Our hospital Held "UAV Low-altitude Aerial Photo Technique and Application" Lecture
To further improve the level of the survey technology of the institute and to improve work efficiency, on June 24, 2016, the institute invited Manager Hao, the manager of Greater Southwest Area of China, FEIMA ROBOTICS Co., Ltd to give a lecture on UAV technique for 30 persons from Environmental Protection Section, Survey Department, Power Generation Department, Substation department, Power Transmission Department, and Department of Science and Technology Information; the lecture is illustrated through abundant texts and graphics, and the content of the lecture include UAV development history, technique advantages and promising application, meanwhile, the composition, function and performance of each model of UAV of the company are introduced in detail.
The lecture is around the scope that our institute business involves in, and the application and development of remote sensing technology of light-small UAV is illustrated.At present, this technology has been widely applied in electricity (solar energy, wind energy, electric power line) location, line selection, survey, surveying and mapping, line patrol, operation, management and other aspects, and with significant effect, which can satisfy the continuous monitoring requirements during the construction process.
In the lecture, everyone showed great interest in UAV - the survey technique developed in recent years, and asked the trainer Hao Zhiyu a number of questions, and Manager Hao Zhiyu gave answers one by one with enthusiasm; meanwhile, led by Chief Engineer He Yongde and Deputy General Manager Liu Yongtao, all participants discussed positively; Chief Engineer He Yongde asked the trainer to give a detailed introduction on UAV application and development in electric power survey; combined with the actual situation of the institute, they discussed how UAV would be applied in the future production activity and line survey design of the institute; and asked in detail the UAV data accuracy, work range, duration of flight, price of accessories, 4D product types, future data handling and interface issues.
As a hot new technique at current stage, light-small UAV remote sensing technique, its application in soil and water conservation monitoring and acceptance, soil and water conservation planning and design, comprehensive reclamation of river basin and other aspects begin to become popular and promising. However, there is still a way to go for UAV to completely replace the traditional operation mode. But as an ancillary technique for line survey and design, with cost reduction and continuously increasing stability of UAV, it is possible for UAV to replace manual work in the future, and it is the inevitable trend of survey technique development of design institute.
